I was hungry and you fed me, I was thirsty
and you gave me a drink, I was homeless
and your gave me a room, I was shivering
and you gave me clothes, I was sick
and you stopped to visit, I was in prison
and you came to me.

Farewell Message from Redirection-NC
After 10 incredible years of service, Redirection-NC will be closing its doors.
Since our founding in 2015, we have had the privilege of assisting hundreds of individuals returning to our communities after incarceration—helping them secure housing, pay deposits, and rebuild their lives with stability and dignity. Our mission has always been rooted in the belief that everyone deserves a second chance and a safe place to call home.
Over the past decade, we’ve seen stories of resilience, transformation, and hope—made possible through the generosity of our donors, community partners, and volunteers. Together, we’ve helped open doors to brighter futures.
Unfortunately, due to a significant decline in donations and the current economic challenges, we are no longer able to sustain operations at the level our clients deserve. This decision was not made lightly, and it comes after deep reflection and exploration of all possible options.
To those we’ve served: thank you for trusting us to walk alongside you in your journey. To our donors, partners, and supporters: your compassion and commitment have made a lasting difference in countless lives.
Though our organization is closing, our mission and the impact of this work will continue through the lives of those we’ve helped and the community that continues to believe in second chances.
With heartfelt gratitude,
The Redirection-NC Team

ABOUT US
Redirection NC provides support services information and deposit assistance to formerly justice involved individuals in North Carolina, facilitating a successful transition to community life.
