About Redirection Home

It is with exceedingly great joy that we welcome you to the Redirection Home!

An encouraging and compassionate program where recently released individuals are assisted in reentering into a stable, character building system with integrity, virtue and love. The residents remain in the program from 6 - 18 months. We help residents obtain NC ID, apply for public assistance where appropriate and deal with debt, such as child support, that may have incurred while in prison. We support them in court appearances, reporting to probation/parole officers and meeting the conditions of their parole or probation. For those in recovery, we embrace them in developing a plan for their recovery, helping them find support meetings in the community, in addition to our weekly in-house meetings and bible studies. Once these basic needs have been met, Redirection Home assists women in thinking about their futures, encouraging enrollment in educational classes or training programs and beginning to look for steady employment. We partner with nearby community-based organizations such as Step Up Ministry and Jobs for Life for their expertise in employment and career development.  It is our desire to give these individuals a new start in a positive and productive direction.
